Stainless Steel Cable Ties Coated and Uncoated

This type of tie has been the specification for fixing cable offshore for many years. Far stronger than the standard nylon tie and of coarse do not give if there is excessive heat, this spec is now used in may industrial applications. Stainless steel cable ties have a roller ball head, which gives a secure locking design and are available in pure polyester coated or un-coated 316 stainless steel.

Coated stainless steel cable ties are 316 stainless steel covered in pure polyester, so as not to react when fixed to galvanised metals.

There can be a reaction with stainless steel and galvanised metals over the long term (years) hence the coating.
